ISO 4892-3规定了样品在仪器中暴露于荧光紫外线辐射、热和水的方法,该仪器用于模拟材料在实际使用中暴露于太阳辐射或通过窗户玻璃暴露于太阳辐射时产生的风化效应。样品在受控的环境条件(温度、湿度和/或水)下暴露于荧光紫外线灯下。不同类型的荧光灯可用于满足各种不同材料的测试要求。样品的制备和结果的评价在其他的国际标准中。通用指南在ISO 4892 1中给出。
ISO 4892-3 specifies methods for exposing specimens to fluorescent UV radiation, heat and water in apparatus designed to simulate the weathering effects that occur when materials are exposed in actual end-use environments to global solar radiation, or to solar radiation through window glass. The specimens are exposed to fluorescent UV lamps under controlled environmental conditions (temperature, humidity and/or water). Different types of fluorescent UV lamp can be used to meet all the requirements for testing different materials.
